Swallow handmade roof tiles were produced by Swallow’s Tiles, a family-run business in Cranleigh, Surrey, established in 1860. The company specialised in handmade, sand-faced clay roofing tiles, forming part of Surrey’s traditional tile-making industry.
Our reclaimed Swallow tiles have a rough-textured surface, predominantly brown tones and individual variations in shape that give them a rustic appearance. Their naturally weathered finish offers character for period properties, outbuildings and extensions, or repairs where matching existing Swallow tiles is important.
Available in approximately 10½ × 6½ inches, subject to stock. Comparing a sample is recommended when matching colour, profile and hanging details.
