JD Holland roof tiles are clay interlocking tiles with headlocks and sidelocks that connect adjoining tiles. Their profiled appearance resembles the Redland 49, although dimensions and interlocking details should be compared carefully when matching an existing roof.

The JD initials refer to Janssen-Dings, a Dutch tile manufacturer founded in Belfeld in 1892 by brothers Hendrik and Joseph Janssen and their brother-in-law Willem Dings. The company became part of the area’s established clay roof tile industry.

Our reclaimed JD Holland tiles offer naturally weathered character and an option for repairs where retaining the original roof’s appearance is important.
