Tilehurst clay pantiles feature a deep curved pan and pronounced overlapping roll, creating a bold, traditional roof profile. Our reclaimed range has a rough-textured finish in terracotta orange and dark brown, with natural weathering that adds character to cottages, barns and outbuildings.
Tilehurst, near Reading, has a long history of clay tile production. Tilehurst Potteries at Kentwood Hill specialised in handmade tiles and flowerpots and continued operating until the 1960s.
These reclaimed pantiles offer options for repairs and restoration where retaining an existing roof’s appearance is important. When choosing replacements, compare the dimensions, curvature and overlaps with an original sample to achieve a suitable match.
