Redland Stonewold Mk II roof tiles are large-format concrete interlocking tiles with a flat face and overlapping side channels. Their broad profile creates a uniform roof covering. A useful identifying feature is the larger hanging nib positioned further down on the underside, compared with the thinner nib close to the top edge on the Mk I. Our reclaimed examples are available in grey, brown, red and yellow, subject to stock.
Manufactured by Redland, the Mk II is a later version of the original Stonewold design. Redland began as the Redhill Tile Company in Surrey in 1919, developing into an established British manufacturer of concrete roofing tiles.
Reclaimed Stonewold Mk II tiles offer options for repairs and matching existing roofs. When choosing replacements, compare the hanging nib, dimensions and interlocks carefully, as Mk II and Mk I tiles should not be assumed to be interchangeable.
