Dunton Green roof tiles, often known as DG tiles, form part of Kent’s brick and tile-making heritage. The Dunton Green Brick, Tile and Pottery Works near Sevenoaks was established in 1862, building on an earlier local industry.
Our reclaimed handmade DG tiles have a traditional appearance, with terracotta-orange and dark brown tones that vary between batches. Their naturally weathered finish offers character for period properties, roof repairs and extensions where a suitable match is needed.
Available in approximately 10½ × 6½ inches, these nibbed tiles differ from traditional peg tiles in their hanging arrangement. When matching an existing roof, compare the dimensions, profile and colour to ensure suitability.
